All normal rules of cricket apply, with the following additions/amendments:- Each side may bat for a maximum of16 6-ball overs. If scores are equal after 16 overs, the team with the highest score at 15 overs (then 14, 13 etc etc) shall be the winner. The number of wickets lost is NOT considered when using this count-back method. There will be a maximum of 4 overs per bowler, except in the case of games where a reduced over match is agreed – see below. No-balls are worth 2 runs (plus runs scored with that delivery) and, in the case of front-foot no-balls only, the next ball will be a free hit to the batting team. The free-hit need not necessarily be faced by the member of the batting team that faced the original no-ball. All deliveries above waist height shall be deemed as no-balls, irrespective of the speed of delivery. A maximum of 5 fielders are allowed more than half way to the boundary at any time. The home team may choose to mark out a fielding ring to assist with this rule – this should be marked out with an approximate radius of 30 yards from each set of stumps. If the home team are unable to do this, the umpires are kindly asked to police this rule. If the start of play is delayed then the team captains may agree a reduced number of overs per side, with a minimum of 10 overs per side. If a match of 12 overs or less is agreed then the max no. of overs per bowler is 3. If play is held up during the innings of the team batting first then the match may continue once the weather conditions have improved, however there will be no reduction (or further reduction) in the number of overs that must be bowled in that innings. If it is clear that there will not be enough remaining time for the completion of the innings of the team batting first and at least 10 overs of the team batting second then the umpires should abandon the game and the match should be rescheduled. If the match is abandoned due to rain or severe bad light during the innings of the team batting second, the winner is deemed to be the team that had scored the highest number of runs at the end of the most recently completed over before abandonment of play. A minimum of 10 overs of the second innings must have been bowled for any result to stand. E.g. if the match is abandoned after 12.3 overs of the team batting second, the winner shall be the team with the highest score after 12 overs, then 11 etc. The number of wickets lost will not be considered.
